What is a Yoot?
Perhaps a better question would be…What are Two Yoots!
The Two Yoots are from Oakland County Michigan and are the newest and hottest guitar and vocal duo on the scene! Consisting of Guitarist and Vocalist Dennis Yoot (Farac) and Gordy Yoot (Hunt) they bring a repertoire replete with many rock and pop crowd favorites, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffet, Van Morrison, The Eagles, Bob Seger and many classic oldies to boot. While the current musical landscape seems to be focused on “Yacht Rock”, Dennis and Gordy are more interested in “Yoot Rock” and challenge their audiences to stump them on song requests at each show, and so far, it just hasn't happened. Both Dennis and Gordy have logged in many years as solo performers in Michigan and they have teamed up to combine their talents for their loyal friends and fans.
